Monthly meditation day
We will organize several meditation days in 2024.
These Meditation Days are geared towards:
- people who at least have completed a basic course and want to have the opportunity to practice with a teacher outside of a retreat;
- people who are interested in this meditation technique and want to get a first glimpse into the practice.
During a meditation day, you will have the opportunity to practice under the guidance of our teacher Carmen Karsters and deepen your understanding of or respectively get to know the Vipassana mediation practice. The instruction will be given in Dutch and/or English.
The meditation days start at 08:30 and lasts until 16:30.
Should you be interested in participating in one of our Meditation Days, please contact us at info@santi-dhamma.nl. Upon registry, we will send you further information.

Dana
According to the tradition the Buddhist teaching is supposed to be offered for free, as in this way it is accessible for anyone. Following this precedent there will be no mandatory expenses for your participation. To make these meditation days possible in the future, we ask for voluntary contribution, to make sure we can also afford renting a location the following meditation days. Besides a donation for these expenses you are also able to give a donation to the teacher as they work on voluntary basis.
Through your donation you enable future students to participate.

“Better than one hundred years lived
With an unsettled mind,
Devoid of virtue,
Is one day lived
With insight and absorbed in meditation.“
“Better it is to live one day
seeing the rise and fall
than to live a hundred years
without ever seeing the rise and fall.”
